About Jeffrey Mathis Charlotte

Jeffrey "Jeff" Mathis currently serves as managing partner at Crossroads Realty Group, LLC, a Charlotte, North Carolina, real estate company that develops and operates retail shopping centers, free-standing retail buildings, office projects, and small multifamily properties. In addition, in the past decade, Jeffrey Mathis has helped the firm purchase foreclosure and bank short-sell properties, which resulted in multiple transactions for retail shopping centers. The company generated transactions of over $65 million from 2017-2020. Besides his role at Crossroads Realty Group, he is managing partner at Skyway Communities, LLC, in Charlotte, which focuses on the acquisition of RV parks in the South and along the East Coast. His duties range from securing financing, handling legal issues, to identifying and negotiating deals. A practicing attorney earlier in his career, he worked for three years at the law firm of Heron, Burchette, Ruckert, & Rothwell. While there, Mr. Mathis served at its Washington, D.C. headquarters and at its satellite office, located in Austin, Texas. Jeff Mathis earned his law degree from the University of North Carolina. After practicing law, Jeff started his commercial real estate career with the Trammell Crow Company and then with Childress Klein Properties. Away from work, Mr. Mathis is an avid volunteer who works with charitable organizations such as Drapen I Havet and One Box for Ukraine to provide used clothes and toys to Ukrainian refugees. During his leisure time, he also enjoys traveling, reading historical novels, fishing and golf.
